Sometimes a dog can truly be your best friend.

In early 2020, Kayse saw Milo on The Animal Foundation website. He needed a foster to help him recover from an upper respiratory infection. After just two days, Kayse knew that Milo was the dog for her, and she adopted him. They quickly bonded and helped each other through good times and bad.

Since then, Kayse and Milo have been inseparable. When Kayse got married and her family grew, Milo was right there with wags of love for the whole family.

“He is now my stepson's best friend and it is the most precious thing to watch them cuddle up in bed and sleep together every night,” Kayse said.
