Happy Tails: Loki

When LaToya and her family’s cay passed in 2019, they were devastated. After a few weeks, they went to The Animal Foundation to adopt another cat and saw Loki.

It was meant to be. LaToya’s daughter’s birthday was fast approaching, and when her daughter locked eyes with Loki, they knew it was fate. They adopted Loki as a birthday present, and the adventure began.

Loki loves head bumps, kisses, and cuddles, and can’t wait for the laser pointer to come out of the drawer. At night, Loki’s favorite place is in a lap or wrapped around whatever pair of feet he can find.

Their little family is now inseparable. “Loki has grown with our kids, and he loves them just as much as when they met,” says LaToya. “He’s a healer who has a special spot in my heart.”
